On 12th April the UK will enter stage two of the road map out of lockdown. This means:
- Customers are permitted to eat and drink from restaurant / café outdoor tables, following the rule of 6, or two households.
- Customers are allowed to enter restaurants / cafe’s to use the toilets – but must wear masks when away from tables.
- Alcohol can be served without restrictions, other than normal business licence permissions. So, no more dodgy substantial scotch eggs.
- Full track and trace must be followed by all members of a party.
What it means for BARiSTA – CUCiNA
We’re beyond excited to offer covered outdoor seating in two areas. Upstairs on our terrace, which accommodates larger parties of up to 12 and at the front where we are operating a walk in service.
All food and drink will be charged at our take-away price and until 17th May provided on eco friendly disposables, to limit the risk of cross contamination. (This will also come in handy should the odd spring arctic blast take us by surprise. You can do a runner with your food…).
We’ll be continuing our collection and delivery service throughout April, to be reviewed in May when the doors re-open.
In April we will be bringing you all the things you’ve missed over the past few months – live music, fantastic cocktails, craft beers and local spirits. Keep checking back for updates.
